We are an official VELUX dealer and a VELUX Trained & Approved installer, working across New York since 2005. That means two things worth knowing: we can put our hands on the entire VELUX line rather than whatever a supplier happens to stock, and we install it the way the manufacturer's warranty assumes it will be installed.

A VELUX skylight is a well-made unit. Almost every failure we get called out to is not the unit, it is how it met the roof.
The most common one: a deck-mounted skylight installed without its step-flashing kit, or with generic flashing improvised on site. It looks finished. It passes a glance from the ground. It leaks in the second or third hard rain, and by then the framing underneath has been wet for months. Every deck-mounted quote we write already includes the flashing kit, which is worth checking line by line when you compare bids.
The second: the wrong size ordered. VELUX sizes are specific, and a unit that is close but not right either gets forced into an opening or sends you back to reorder. Our Skylight Finder matches your measurements to the exact unit before anyone spends money.
The third: a dome swapped onto an old curb. We don't do those, a new dome on old framing and old flashing cannot be sealed or warrantied honestly. More on repair versus replacement →
You or your contractor are installing. We size it to your exact opening, include the right flashing, and quote it, so you don't buy the wrong unit twice.
The whole job, unit, flashing, roof, interior finish, with a 10-Year No Leak Warranty and a 5-Year Labor Warranty on top of the VELUX warranty.
Motors, controls, rain sensors, shades, remotes, weatherstripping. We carry the parts and we know the units.
