General contractors, architects, property managers, and institutions use us as a skylight supplier, an installation subcontractor, or one point of responsibility for the whole scope. Commercial skylight work is our specialty, not our sideline.
Multi-unit ridge systems and long-span daylighting, engineered and installed. Recent: six-unit VELUX ridge system, Japanese Consulate, 4 E 67th St, boom truck, permits, and flagging handled.
Per-unit labor pricing where curbs, hoisting, and scaffolding are by others. Clean scopes, licensed crews, and a sub who shows up knowing skylights.
Any unit we sell, quoted and delivered with spec support, sizing confirmed against your openings before it ships.
Architectural systems, walkable structural glass, commercial domes, and custom fabrication. Proposals carry full engineering specifications, dimensions, glazing makeup, finishes, weights, submittal-ready.
You know how this usually goes. You send a drawing into a general inbox. Nothing comes back for a week. You chase. Somebody asks a question you already answered. The quote finally arrives with no lead time on it. Then the order goes in and you have no idea where it is until it shows up, or does not.
That is the normal experience of buying a commercial skylight in this city, and it is the thing we are actually competing on. Not catalogue depth. Anybody can order a unit. We want to be the easiest company in New York to buy a skylight from.
| Step | What happens, and what you can hold us to |
|---|---|
| 1. You send it | Roof plan, skylight schedule, a photo, or a size scribbled on a napkin. Use the form below, or email it. You do not need a complete package to start a conversation. |
| 2. We confirm we have it | Same business day, from a person, with their name on it. Not an autoresponder. If something is missing we tell you in that first reply instead of a week later. |
| 3. You get one point of contact | A name and a direct number. Not a quote desk, not a ticket, not a different person every time you call. |
| 4. The quote is complete | Line item per unit, what is included, what is by others, freight, and the lead time in writing. A quote without a lead time on it is not a quote, it is a number. |
| 5. Submittals when you need them | Cut sheets, dimensions, glazing makeup, finish and weights. Say the word and it comes as a package, not a chase. |
| 6. You know where the order is | We tell you when it ships and we tell you if it slips, before you ask. Nobody enjoys finding out on delivery day. |
| 7. Terms you can plan around | 1/3 down, 1/3 on delivery, 1/3 on completion. Written on every proposal. |
You have crews. We size it, quote it, get it, and deliver it. Sizing confirmed against your actual openings before anything ships, because the most expensive mistake in this business is ordering the wrong size twice.
Material, curbs, hoisting and scaffolding by others. Per unit labor pricing, a clean scope, and a sub who turns up knowing skylights instead of learning on your job.
One number, one contract, one company to call when it rains. No arguing later about whether it was the unit or the installation.
If the skylight sits over a common element, the job starts with the board and not the roof. We handle the alteration agreement, the certificate of insurance naming the building, the managing agent and the board, and a schedule the super can work with. See skylights for co-op and condo boards for what we hand the managing agent before anything is cut.
Attach the roof plan or the skylight schedule and we'll price it, supply only, labor only, or both. We bid GC and architect work every week.
You get a confirmation from a named person the same business day we receive your drawings or dimensions, so you are never wondering whether it landed. The quote itself carries a lead time in writing. A quote without a lead time on it is not a quote, it is a number.
Both. Supply only, labor only, or the whole thing under one responsibility. The third option is the one most owners want when something leaks, because there is nobody to point at but us.
Yes, as a package, without being chased for it. Specifications, product data and shop information go out together so your architect or engineer can review once instead of three times.
One third down, one third on delivery, one third on completion, stated on every proposal. Purchase orders, deposit and freight terms are on the quote rather than discovered later.
One point of contact with a direct number, and order status pushed to you rather than chased by you. That is the whole difference we are selling on the commercial side.
Yes. We are licensed and insured, LIC# 2084179, and certificates of insurance are issued naming the building owner and the general contractor as additional insureds where that is required. Limits are confirmed on request in writing.
Not usually, but it changes the order of operations, so we ask who holds the warranty before anything is cut. Opening a roof under an active manufacturer warranty can void it. Coordinating with the warranty holder first is cheaper than arguing about it afterward.
